Little Chefs

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. I wrote this while I was on our way home from our third Christmas. This year was a little different for us. We normally are at home for Christmas as our family has been in the area. This year, my son and family were in North Carolina, so we decided to go up there and celebrate with them. The rest of my family in Florida was wonderful and rearranged their schedules so that we could have Christmas with them before we left.

Did you make anything for the special people on your list? If so, we would love to hear about it! I had so much fun making a few things. First of all, my little granddaughter Bayli, Cheri' s daughter was getting a kitchen for Christmas. We bought her big brother a play grill to go along with it. I got the idea to make them aprons.....that idea grew to add chef hats....then I decided to make them for all four grand kids. So I got some white fabric and started cutting away. I didn't have a pattern so I just used my imagination and a great embroidery machine. They came out pretty cute, but got even cuter when they were on my sweet babies!

Leave a comment and let us know what you made for Christmas!

One of my favorite memories of Christmas going to see specific Holiday displays near house and then gathering with the entire family (including aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents) at our house and have a wonderful Christmas Eve (Noche Buena) dinner and celebration. Our house decorated and then going Christmas Day to mass. Of course opening all the gifts and getting my doll and Barbie RV.

Cheri was excited to hear you had a Barbie RV (so did she) and that brought back many happy memories! :)
