Paper Pack Giveaway - Merry Christmas

We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions has been driving around to see Christmas lights.  In recent years we have enjoyed visiting the Homosassa Wildlife Park during their Celebration of Lights.  They cover the park with Christmas lights and festive decorations.  They really do a fantastic job.  They even have Spectacular synchronized light and sound display.  I have loved doing this for years and now I get to watch my kids' eyes light up when they see the lights.

We are feeling generous this Christmas Season...
Leave a comment to enter for a chance to win one of 2 Christmas Paper Packs from DCWV!  Tell us what your favorite Christmas memory is.

Our offices will be closed December 24 - 26, 2011 and December 31, 2011 - January 2, 2012.  We will be available on a limited basis December 27 - 30th.  If you call, be sure to leave a message and we'll call you back as soon as possible.  Enjoy the holidays with your families!

Meet my Family

Hello friends!  I wanted to take a minute to introduce you to my family.  That's me, Cheri, on the left.  My little girl, Bayli and my rock star son, Nate in the middle.  And the good lookin' guy on the right is my awesome, sweet, caring husband, Luke.

We just had these family photos taken a few weeks ago and I just got the CD of the images.  The photo shoot was great and we got lots of good shots to cherish forever!

They are best friends...

Our little princess!

My son could hardly believe the photographer when she told him to go jump on the couch.  He was so happy!  Nate was an angel during the entire shoot.  I got him a cup cake when we were finished.

Christmas at my house

Hi Ladies! It's Gail and this is my first Blog post ever. Cheri is the computer wizard, and I have to say I was a little nervous about getting started. I was wondering if there were blog words or blog abbreviations (lol - like they do in texting) or blog rules that I needed to know. So I did a little research and found out that it looks pretty simple and that I can just share some thoughts. Whew! Much easier!

I really like all types of crafts and hope to share my love for these with you on the blog. A couple of years ago, when the grandchildren started coming, I found that I could no longer get Christmas stockings to match the ones I already had on my mantel for our growing family. So I took on the project of making all new stockings and I bought lots of extra material so that when I had a new grand baby - like this year - I would be able to add them into the mix without too much trouble. So the first year, I made 8 stockings - a huge undertaking. Last year and this year, I added one each, which was much easier! Here's a couple of pictures of my mantel and my stockings. I chose burgundy and copper as my colors.

One of my favorite decorations are these glitter boxes that I found in Tennessee while on a little road trip. I took the glitter box and filled it with ornaments and lights, then decorated the top with poinsettias, pretty ribbon and of course, lots of glittered things!

How are your Christmas decorations coming?

Super fantastic! We had a blast on the Scrapping Turtle cruise that you put together. I think I got more "having fun" than scrapbooking done! It was awesome.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
I started decorating for Christmas today (it is my day off...don't worry...Gail is manning the phones).  Decorating is not as easy as it used to be (before kids).  My son wanted to help with everything but there wasn't much he could do.  I wasn't exactly going to let him climb the ladder to hang the garland over the front door.  :)  I have yet to put up the Christmas tree and my nativity set.  Maybe tomorrow??

I've gotta say - I'm stocking proud!  My mom purchased stockings for me and my husband when we got married.  My husband's is the blue one and mine is white.  When my first child was on the way, I decided to make a matching stocking for him.  I tediously hand beaded those snow flakes.  It took forever but I was super excited when it was completed.  I just completed my daughter's stocking last week.  Hers is red.

More Christmas decorations to come.  Wait until you see Gail's beautiful decor!

Our First Post!!

We've finally taken the plunge...we now have a Cruise & Crop Blog!  Gail and I (Cheri) are super excited about it.

The purpose of this blog will be to post listings of new Cruise & Crop cruises, talk about cruising in general and share with you memories of past Cruise & Crop cruises.  And what would a blog be without crafty project pictures!  Gail and I will be posting some of our own as well as inviting guest designers to join in the fun.

To celebrate we are hosting a giveaway right away!  All you have to do leave a comment under this post.  And if you could subscribe to our Blog, that would be wonderful too!  Die Cuts With a View was generous to donate some Stacks!  We will be giving away TWO Simply Autumn stacks during this first giveaway.  And there will be more DCWV stacks to follow in the coming months!

Check out this cute wreath we made with Erin & Amy (of DCWV) on the Michaels Where Creativity Happens Crafting Cruise in October.
